Ceremony for the anniversary of Shakyamuni's entrance
into nirvana. Nirvana is the perfect state in which the mind and body
are freed of all illusions. |

Service held for our ancestors (Reading of their posthumous
names) |
| Buddha's Birthday: |
Ceremony for the anniversary of Shakyamuni's birth, where
members pour sweet tea over the image of an infant Shakyamuni. |
| Miscarried Babies
Service: |
Service held for all "unborn" babies who were
not able to receive life on this earth |
| Obon Service: |
Homage is paid to the spirits of one's ancestor through
a special service. During this period, it is believed that the ancestors'
spirits return to this world, visiting their relatives. Lanterns are hung
to guide their spirits and food and special dances are performed to celebrate
their return. |
| War Memorial Service: |
This service is a prayer for world peace and the victims
of World War II. |

Day: |
Memorial Service on the anniversary of the death of Myoko
Naganuma, who dedicated her life in spreading the teachings of the Lotus
Sutra for the salvation of many people. |
