People have asked me, “Founder, no matter what kind of person you meet, you will always see nice and pleasant side about them and interpret everything in positive way, do you have any secret to that?”

I don’t know if you consider this to be a secret, but in every situation, I will always ask myself, “How would Buddha correspond with this person? How would Buddha think about this situation?” and I tried my best to follow in his footsteps.

Children grow up by following in the footsteps of their parents. The apprentices become full-fledged by exactly following the teaching of their masters. If we have a role model of who we wish to become, if we strive exactly as our role model, we will be able to become close to our respecting models.

Each person we meet and every incident we come across, we apply every situation to our sutra and practice it according to the sutra. This is same as truly reciting the sutra or literally, reading the sutra by the body (acting according to the teachings expounded in the sutra).

Shakyamuni Buddha who has entered nirvana 2500 years ago cannot be seen with our naked eyes, however, by practicing what is written in the sutra, we can see the presence of Shakyamuni Buddha through our practices.
